The journey takes us to Iittala, the rural heart of the Finnish Glass industry.
The Iittala Glass Centre is an interesting and idyllic destination to visit and explore. It is a place where history and today’s world meet. Iittala presents a unique opportunity to get to know glass blowing and the history of glass making. In addition to Iittala glass, the Glass Centre offers a lot more to see, buy, taste, and remember. There are various boutiques for handicrafts, design, and delicacies.
On the way back to Tampere, we will visit the biggest commercial city in the Nordic Countries – Ideapark, where everything you need can be found under one roof: almost 200 stores, restaurants and cafes, 100.000 square metres of ideas and 1,2 kilometres of shopping streets.
