TIME AND PLACE
The 11th European Veterans Table Tennis Championships (EVC) will take place from June 29th until July 4th, 2015 at Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre, Tampere, Finland.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS/WAITING LIST
2 500 players will be allowed to participate in the EVC 2015 in Tampere. Player’s entries will be registered in chronological order after receiving full payment of entry fees. (“first come, first served“-basis). Registrations received above the number of 2 500 will be put on a waiting list in the order of date of entry. Vacancies will be filled from the waiting list. The number of Finnish players is limited to 1000

5.Wednesday July 1st, 2015 No competition.
VIP- party at 20:00. Practice hall is open for training from 12.00 to 18:00

Opening ceremony
All accredited persons (players, accompanying persons) will receive free entry upon presentation of their personal accreditation. Opening ceremony will take place in the center of Tampere at Keskustori at 18:00.
Vip-party
Wednesday July 1st, 2015 at 20.00.
The VIP- Party is arranged by Finnish Table Tennis Associationand The City of Tampere. Party is for invited persons. All persons are individually invited.
Farewell party
Friday, July 3rd, 2015 in Hotelli Ilves from 20:00 to 24:00
The tournament Banquet will be on Friday evening and open for all participants but number of tickets
is limited to 700 . Price for farewell party is 30€.
REGISTRATION/ENTRY
Registration periods and entry fees:
1st Registration period:
From January 1st 2014 to November 16th, 2014 € 140.00 / participant ( € 40 / accompanying person)
2 nd Registration period
From November 17th, 2014 to March 31 st, 2015 € 160.00 / participant (€ 50 / accompanying person)
The closing date for registration is March 31st, 2015.
If the maximum number of participants is reached before March 31st, 2015, registrations received thereafter will be put on a waiting list. The registrations on this list will be considered in chronological order. Changes concerning the event notification will not be accepted after March 31st, 2015.
The Entry fee for participants includes:
• Starting place which allows participation at the 11th European Veterans Table Tennis Championships
• Use of practice facilities
• Participation (attendance) at the Opening Ceremony
• Personal accreditation
• Tournament documents
• Participant’s diploma and gift
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION
• Online by using the registration-form on the website (www.evttc2015.fi)
DOUBLES REGISTRATION
• The basic intension to participate in the doubles event has to be made during the on-line registration before March 31 th 2015.
• Accepted and registered doubles will be those where both players have
confirmed their doubles partners
• Players that have registered for doubles latest March 31st 2015 but have no partner, will have the possibility to pair with other free players from the “double partner wanted list” until Monday June 29th 12.00 noon. After that time ETTU will pair free players by computer.
• The selection of a doubles partner is possible from August 30 th, 2014 on the website from the “Double partner wanted list”
• Players from “”double partner wanted list” who are not accredited before Monday June 29th, 12.00 will be excluded from the doubles event.
REGISTRATION OF ACCOMPANYING PERSONS
Registration of accompanying persons should take place together with the registration for the tournament. Entry fee has to be paid together with the entry fee for the participant.
Entry fee for accompanying persons includes:
• Personal accreditation
• Admission to Venue
• Admission to opening ceremony
GROUP REGISTRATIONS
Conditions:
• There must be at least 20 people in the group and the group must stay mainly in the same hotel
• Contact person/team leader is the only person to be contacted by the tournament organizer and all group information must be given at the same time
• All costs of the group must be paid at the same time
• The collection of all tournament documents for the entire group can only be done by the contact person/ team leader named during the registration process.
Benefits:
• Extra gift for group leaders
• Free VIP- party for group leader
• The group has possibility to get own guide temporarily or for the whole time (extra cost)
• The group gets extra help in arranging trips in Finland or for example to Estonia.
If there are more than 40 people in the group there are more benefits:
• The group get discount 5€ / per participant when registered before November 16th, 2014. The discount is given back to the group leader during accreditation
• Free Farewell Party for group leader and his/her avec
• Free VIP- party for group leader/and for his/her avec
• The organizer can arrange a bus for the group (extra cost)
List of participants is updated and made public on the website once per month from November 16th 2014. Every participant is strongly advised to check his/her status on the website to make sure that everything is listed correctly. Every participant agrees to be published on this website with his name and the category.
CHANGES OF ENTRY
First two changes will be free of charge. From the third change a handling fee of € 5.00 per change will be charged. Payment has to be made in cash at accreditation at the venue.
Changes received after March 31st 2015 cannot be considered.
Every participant will receive confirmation via email and they can also see their names on the website.
PAYMENT
Bank charges/ Outstanding payments
Bank charges, exchange costs etc. will have to be borne by the participant. Outstanding bank charges or handling fees which are always at the participant’s expense, necessarily have to be paid by the participant (only cash in Euro) before the tournament documents can be collected.
The organizers will not hand over the back number and tournament documents, both of which entitle the person to participate, unless payment has been effected.
CANCELLATION
In principle, cancellation of entry is possible at any point without giving reasons. To do this, participants have to submit their personal registration number, name, first name as well as bank information in written form by sending an E-Mail to [email protected] or by letter to Finnish Table Tennis Association, Radiokatu 20, 00240 Helsinki
Cancellation fees per participant
The following cancellation fees will apply:
To November 16th, 2014: no cancellation fee
From November 17th to March 31st, 2015: 50% of entry fee
From March 31st, 2015 no refund possible
REFUND IN CASE OF CANCELLATION
According to the rates and dates above, the cancellation fee will be reimbursed by FTTA within 30 days after receipt of the cancellation. Any fees incurred for reimbursement will be payable by the person cancelling his entry.
In case the participant cancelled Farewell Party tickets or accompanying persons, fees will be paid back in cash by organizers on the day of accreditation at the Venue when collecting the tournament documents.
CANCELLATION OF HOTEL BOOKING
By cancelling the tournament-participation, hotel bookings will not automatically be cancelled. Accommodation has to be cancelled separately.
TRANSPORTATION DURING COMPETITION
Organizers will provide a limited frequency transport service (timetable to be published at a later date) between the venue and official hotels on a “first come first served” basis. (extra payment)

MISCELLANEOUS
VISA AND ENTRY INTO FINLAND
Each participant is personally responsible to obtain a visa if necessary. For more details please contact the Finnish Embassy in your country.
ILLNESS/ ACCIDENT
To compete, participating players of the 2015 European Veterans Championships are responsible for their physical and mental fitness.
The Organizing Committee does not provide health insurance for participants. Any costs for medication, bandages or other medical services will not be borne by the Organizing Committee. Red Cross will be available at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre during the whole duration of the EVC 2015.
LIABILITY/INSURANCE
The Organizing Committee cannot accept liability in case of accidents, injuries, thefts or damages of any kind.
The Organising Committee does not provide health insurance for participants. Each participant has to take care for his/her health insurance and to bear the relevant costs.
Costs incurred by foreign participants for late departure or non-departure from Finland due to illness will be at each participant’s expense. The Organizing Committee shall not be liable in this respect and has not made out an insurance.
