The group gathers at the Laukontori dock, where the guide will meet the group and escort to the boat. At Viikinsaari, the summery oasis only 20 minute boat ride away from Laukontori, there is lots to see and do for everyone. Before lunch, all interested can take part in Nordic walking, kettlebell training and a fun flexing session. The lunch is served in a beautiful log mansion at 11.30 am, after which there will be some free time. The western part of the island is a nature reserve and all over the island there are lots of beautiful, old trees and an especially rich coppice growth. There is a 2,5 kilometers long, 13-checkpoint nature trail going around the island, which offers an opportunity to take a closer look at the island’s plants and birdlife. The boat back to the city leaves every half an hour and the group members can choose their own return time.
